This Privacy Policy explains how YAH Tech ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the PersFin website at persfin.app and the PersFin app at app.persfin.app.

What We Collect

Marketing site (persfin.app): The only information we collect is your email address, and only if you voluntarily submit it through our signup form. We use no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no cookies on the marketing site.

PersFin app (app.persfin.app): If you are enrolled in the app, we collect:

• Account information from Google Firebase Authentication when you sign in with Google (such as your name and email address).
• Financial account data (such as account balances, debt, and transaction information) retrieved through a licensed third-party bank data aggregator that you authorize.

Your bank credentials are never seen or stored by PersFin. You provide them directly to our aggregator, and the access tokens we receive are encrypted at rest.

How We Use Your Information

• Signup emails are used solely to contact you about alpha access, product updates, and to collect feedback.
• Financial data is used solely to display your debt and cash positions to you within the app.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers, and we do not use your financial information for advertising of any kind.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore (Google Firebase), hosted in the United States.

Third Parties

We rely on a small number of service providers to operate PersFin:

• Google Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication, data storage, and hosting.
• Bank data aggregator — a licensed third party that connects to your bank on your behalf, only with your authorization.

These providers process data on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments. We do not share your data with any other third parties except as required by law.

Data Retention

We keep signup emails until you unsubscribe or request deletion. App account and financial data is retained while your account is active and deleted when you close your account or ask us to delete it, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Your Rights

You can ask us at any time to delete your data or unsubscribe from emails by writing to support@persfin.app. We will respond as promptly as we reasonably can.

Children

PersFin is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, particularly as PersFin evolves during its alpha stage. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated by email where practical.
